Supro Galaxy head, made in USA 2025. This is a classy amp, truly. Supro began making vale amps in the 60s in Chicago, finding favour with big deal players like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons and scores of others. This one is their recent 50w, two channel all valve number, and it's super impressive. The clean is approximately Fender-ish, with a shimmering clarity and plenty of oomph. The dirty channel is really quite a unique beast: similar to a Marshall in gain structure, but much smoother through the top end and midrange without being nearly as compressed as stuff like Mesas or 5150s. It's a got a gorgeous gooey voice, great for legato leads and crunchy chords. Very good, and visually fetching to boot.
