The original Phase 45 was a two stage phaser, rather than the more ubiquitous Phase 90's four stage job. It's a more subtle effect, but oh boy: it's a satisfying thing to turn on. There's a pleasant honky snap to the tone, so it cuts through nicely, and has a sweet warm sweep that makes me feel good about life and the world. It's going to be okay, you know?
