Mesa pedals don't get the airtime the big Recto amps get, and that's a shame: this is awesome. This functions kinda like a Tubescreamer in that it's a low gain drive that works great to get your dirty tube amp singing with more gusto. It's more flat EQ-wise than a TS though, and you get a handy 20dB boost available via the volume control and a further 12db boost on the treble/bass EQ controls, so you can get it dialed in right. Hard to get new, easy to get here for five minutes while it's on offer!
