This is an interesting pedal; it was produced as a collaboration between pedal legends Maxon and Stafford, the well regarded guitar brand that does very well domestically in Japan. It's a fuzz, but it's a super low gain fuzz. It goes down to just about clean with the gain control below midday, which dials in a percussive, swampy lo-fi kinda growl. Cranked up further, this pushes into Gilmour-ish singing sustain without ever going into fluffy-wall-of-noise territory. It's a great texture, very enjoyable.
