It took Marshall a while, but it clicked eventually: we all want that iconic Marshall tone, but really can't be bothered with a 100w valve head and hefty 4x12" cab. Here we have their handy solution: the Origin series valve combos. This is a cute little 1x10" combo, 20w at full volume but switchable to less, light and compact and flavoured after the classic low gain Marshall amps of the past. It's a great sounding amp, there's a sweet balance of tight punchy attack and a spacious warmth through the mids. It doesn't really do super high-gain sounds, but hey, you've got an HM2 for that, right?
