This one pushes the boundaries of what a gain pedal can do. At it's heart, it's a germanium based treble booster, but the 'clean' knob lets you dial from a true clean boost with all those glassy, shimmering highs to a nasty, thick singing fuzz. Between that and the tone and toggle controls, there's a huge variety of superbly natural, tube-like goodness inside. Really good as an always-on tone sculptor, but also superb for more outrageous applications. Bravo.
