The quintessential fuzz pedal, surely. This example is a version eight, made by Sovtek in Russia around 2001. It's very similar to the v7 big box version, which is in turn very similar to the green Russian bubble font examples that fetch eye-watering cash. It's thick, salty and rich, with plenty of sustain and harmonic content. This one has no box, but it's got the battery cover. Cool as hell.
