Confusing name, fat tones. This is voiced on a 'Civil War' era EHX Big Muff, a scarcely available Russian built Muff from the early '90s famed for excellent note separation, definition and a warm, singing sustain without wading into 'wall of noise' territory. This covers that low gain bluesy fuzz thing really nicely and it's perfect on a neck pickup with a whisker of analog delay. Plus, it's approx. a tenth the cost of a Civil War, so hey, you might be able to afford that return flight for your upcoming tour after all.
