Twenty Cent Guitar Co S-Style, made in Australia 2025, walnut stain. 20c is the project of local Hobart guitar maker Tim Caldwell, combining some native Australian tonewood with twists on some classic shapes. This one is a pretty straight-up S-style offering, with a few signature Tim-touches. The neck is five-piece laminate, so it's super strong and looks fantastic. It's a chunky D-style shape and feels good in the hands. The sound is snappy and fast, with plenty of top end shimmer and a musical, tight bass. The satin walnut finish is understated and classy, and paired with the wild orange swirl guard and black hardware, it looks great. If you're after something a little different, this is certainly that.
