Fender Tele Thinline Build, purple sparkle, assembled in  Australia 2025. Now that's a looker! This is the latest creation from a regular Topshelfer, and his mad-science bent is surely to your benefit here. The neck is an AVRI-ii, so it's carved to a 70s style slim U shape from some quality maple and feels fantastic. The body is American alder and nicely made, and it's been topped with a custom CNC-cut pickguard made by NSW-based Fletcher Custom Guitars that accommodate the PAF-sized pickups and extra wiring under the hood. The pickups are by Melbourne wiz MR Fabulous, who has spent a lot of time and energy perfecting the recipe on the Firebird-style mini humbucker. These Big Bird models take the magnetic and circuit design from those mini HBs and put them in a larger house, so they're a lot breathier and more open than a standard humbucker, and the coil-split options are especially good. They're paired with an S1 switch and a 5-way blade, and you get an absolutely insane list of combinations available at your fingertips. The backbone of the sound is always clear, sparkly and full, and there's a million variations therein to play around with as listed below. The offset-style cut for the tailpiece opens up some future modding possibilities too, handy if you're a tinkering type. Friends, it's sparkly purple. Purple I tell you.
