Fender Strat, sunburst, crafted in  Japan 1999-02. Clean, classy, classic. The 1962 version of the Stratocaster was blessed with a gold 'spaghetti' logo, Kluson-style tuners, a rosewood slab fretboard, three-ply pickguard, stamped saddles and a three colour sunburst finish, so this examples gets all those as tribute. The neck is a highlight: the board is a lovely dark piece of rosewood and the maple shows a tight, consistent grain, and it's carved to a very agreeable slim C shape that will win many friends. The pickups deliver a juicy balance of zesty chime, airy mids and punchy lows; it's a great take on the classic Strat-spank. If you're after an understated vintage-style friend that plays smoothly and sounds great, this is just the ticket.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and scuffs on both edges. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs on the bottom horn, dimples on the top horn, belly carve ,bottom corner and back edge, as well as a small dent near the trem cavity. The sides have dimples on the top horn and elbow area, scuffs near the rear strap pin and jack and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front has dimples on the top horn, elbow area and near the jack and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
