ender Am Deluxe Strat, Olympic Pearl, made in USA 2006. The American Deluxe series launched in 1998 as the suave, sophisticated big brother to the long-running American Standard series. You get a couple of cool upgrades: Noiseless pickups, S-1 switching for more sound options, a fancy roller nut, locking tuners, abalone inlays and a neck with a compound radius and an access heel join. It's great in the hands: that neck is fast and agreeable, and the flatter radius up the top makes bends and quick runs very easy. The standard single coil hum is gloriously gone, so you can plug this into a dirty amp and turn it up without burdening your poor brain with 60-cycle hum. It's a bright, snappy, articulate take on the Strat-spank, sure to sit nicely on top of a mix and slice through nicely. The finish is a shimmering metallic pearl style take on the classic Olympic White, which is very yummy. Slick Strat snazz.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end and some dimples on the back near the high E tuner. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has a minor dent on the top horn and some light scuffs around the trem cavity and back edge. The sides have no major marks. The front has minor scuffs around the jack and some dimples in the elbow area, as well as minor play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
