Suzuki No.160 Bowlback Mandolin Natural 1967
Suzuki 160 Bowlback Mandolin, natural finish, made in Jaoan 1967. This is a very pretty little thing. Suzuki kicked off making violins in Japan in 1887, so they were many decades deep by the time their excellent craftsmen made this. It's in great shape for a 60ish year old instrument, both functionally and visually. The tone is lush: deep and rich with a gorgeous shimmering complexity. You won't see many of these around these days, so score a cool old thing while it's going.
