Maton S70, natural finish, made in Australia 2020. The Solid Road Series, or SRS, was a great move from Australia's most iconic instrument makers: all-solid construction, simple styling, updated bracing under the hood and an affordable ticket price. This is the unamplified dreadnought from the line, and it's very agreeable indeed. The combo of a spruce top and blackwood back and sides delivers a crisp, tight tone with a pleasing balance across the strings and a nice open chime. Simple and enjoyable.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the treble edge and some minor dents on the top edge near the low E tuner. The is clean and smooth in the hands, rub wear on the back only. The back has rub wear on the top shoulder and middle of the body only. The sides have minor surface scratches and rub wear in the elbow area. The front has play wear on and around the guard.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is reasonably low, neck is straight, intonation is good. Wearing fresh 12/54 Moonshiners phosphor bronze strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
