Gibson SG Junior, cherry, made in USA 2019. This is all punch and no nonsense. The SG Junior launched in 1961, with a super simple recipe: slim mahogany body, wraparound bridge, one P-90 pickup. It's got a certain immediacy and swagger, and is a heap of fun to play. The neck is a fairly chunky D shape, with a generous taper as you get higher up the fretboard. It balances nicely against the lightweight body, with a lively feel. The tone on deck won't cover every base, but if you're after glorious rock rhythm sounds with low end kick, breathy wide mids and pleasing sparkle on the top end, this nails the brief. For punk, grunge or bluesy stuff, it's very convincing. This one presents as near new, which is handy: you can't buy a new one, they're discontinued these days.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands,minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs around the front strap pin. The sides have dimples near the knobs. The front has minor dimples around the bridge and elbow area and some light play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
