Fender Japan J-Craft Standard Strat, shell pink, crafted in Japan 1997-00. These Japan Standard models are great little performers: no nonsense, all feel. The neck is a slim modern C shape, similar in profile to a '62 Reissue model, but wearing a slick satin finish and in this case a tasty maple board, with a modern friendly 9.8" radius. The neck really does feel magic on this one; it's in pristine shape is supremely slick in the hands. The finish has yellowed to a tasty apricot hue; against the streaky rosewood board and the creamy plastics, this looks the goods. The tone is great too: heaps of bite and snap, balanced by an assertive but steady low end a classic punchy Strat-spank attack. These never last long in this finish, so if you're a little hot under the collar already, make your move quickly and take it home.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has a few minor scuffs around the outside edge and near the cavity cover, no major marks. The cavity cover has a chip out of the corner. The sides are pretty clear, just a few dimples stretching from the elbow area around to the jack area. The front is pretty clean, just some dimples behind the bridge and in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets are looking pretty good, just some normal play wear; 7/10 for life left. Set up with fresh 11/49s.
