Fender Jazzmaster, black, crafted in Japan 2005-6. We love Jazzies around here, and it's always extra fun to get a black one, as they can be harder to come by than a white or sunburst. This example has had the pickguard switched for a black number too, so it's extra suave. The mid-00s Japan JM66 model is blessed with a very comfortable slim vintage C shaped neck, which is very comfy and always wins fast friends in the shop. The tone on offer is breathy, dry and complex, with a percussive snappy attack and a snarly midrange. This is a perfect stage guitar, but I'm sure it will also look very fetching in the corner of your room.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end and edges. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples on the horns, elbow area and back edge, as well as minor scuffs around the whole body. The sides have minor dimples on the top horn, a chip, some dents and scuffs in the elbow area and some scuffs near the jack. The front has scuffs around the tailpiece, dimples and scuffs in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
