Fender American Deluxe Strat, ice blue, made in USA 2012. This is a 'factory special run' model, with a cool non-catalog ice blue metallic finish and a single blue silver ano guard. It looks superb, the silver and blue is such a cool combo and it ties in with the chrome hardware and logo perfectly. The frets on this have been recently replaced with stainless steel medium jumbos, so you're sorted on fretwork for the next fifty years. It feels great: the slim neck is straight and stable and finished in slick satin, and the compound radius is a nice touch for athletic lead work. The S1 switching system delivers an obscene amount tonal options, including some fun stuff like out-of-phase and parallel settings. The pickups are noiseless, so you get a crisp, clear and defined take on the Strat-spank without any of the usual single coil hum. There's a lot to like here, and it really does look impeccable... dang.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has some minor scuffs near the neck plate and in the belly carve area, no major marks. The sides have no major marks. The front has minor play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have been recently replaced with stainless steel wire and are in as-new shape, 10/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
