Eko M24 Vintage Wine Red 2013

Eko M24 Vintage, made in China 2013, wine red finish. Eko were part of the burgeoning Italian guitar scene in the 1960s, alongside other such cool cats as Wandrè and Galanti. They've experienced a re-boot in recent years, with some of the iconic catalog models from the 60s and 70s reimagined for our day. The M24 was a 1970s model, so it came with some envelope-pushing ideas: super fast 24-fret neck, ebony fretboard, clever split-coil switches for the pickups and a fun little tattoo on the body. This snazzy traveler is blessed to match, and it's a very well executed little soul that's keen for some rock and roll. It plays quickly and easily, intonates well and holds tune with confidence, and the sounds on offer are great: kinda like a snarlier and more articulate take on the warm LP growl. Are you ready to be an Eko-warrior?
